INDIAN - A STRUGGLE TOWARDS ANTI-CORRUPTION

Indian is a Tamil thriller based on a Veteran Indian freedom fighter who is involved in murder of few men who is involve in bribing people. This movie was released in the year 1996 which stared Kamal Hasan in dual role was directed by S.Shankar and was produced by Mani Ratnam. This movie was a box office hit in 1996 and is still one of the most watched old movies. The movie has a sequel which is yet to release.

The story revolves around Chandra Bose (Kamal Hasan) who is a small time broker outside the RTO office. His father Senapathy (Kamal Hasan) is a veteran Indian freedom fighter and his mom is a housewife and he had a sister who died due to an fire accident. 

so the whole movie is involved with series of murders of the people who exploit people for money and the pattern of the murder is of the same where the victim is paralyzed before death. In the end it is shown that Senapathy finds his son indulged in bribery. so he tries to kill him when he tried to flee to Mumbai and is successful in killing him. He is said to have died when the vehicle he was traveling met an fire accident. But in the climax it is shown that he is alive and will return again . so the sequel will reveal the rest of the story.
