Guilty movie review: Netflix and Dharmatic present a flawed but important take on the #MeToo movement


The movie comprises of series of newcomers starting from male lead Gurfateh Singh who has shown immense potential and sure to get many chances in coming days. The surprise factor is Kiara Advani where you can see her in never seen avatar and she has perfectly went into the character as disturbed, tombayish yet a real potrayal of today's youth. Akansha Ranjan Kapoor is the new kid in the block but she is the weakest among the lot. The investigation lawyer played by Taher Shabbir is equally good in terms of performance. Rest all the other cast bigger or smaller in role is perfectly cast.

The movie is bit lengthy if I may say so and editing it out for 10 to 15 minutes must have made one of the best movie of the year. The environment of college is cinematic as lots of liberalities has been taken into account yet doesn't go overboard. The songs which were suppose to lift the movie actually hampers the flow of the moviebarred.
