Penguin - A mysterious story of a young boy

 Penguin is a thriller which stars Keerthy Suresh in the lead was exclusively released by Amazon prime in the year 2020. This movie starts with Rhythm(Keerthy) who is searching her long lost son and she is pregnant with her second child. she also notices that kidnapping cases has increased in Ooty. In the flashback Rhythm is seen happy with her son Ajay with her husband Raghu(Linga) and her two friends Bhavana(Nithya Kriupa) and Abi( Harini Ramakrishnan). she loves Ajay so much and is seen pampering him a lot. During Bhavana's dad funeral Ajay goes missing for the first time and Rhythm panics and evert one in the funeral goes in search of the kid. Raghu involves in a fight with Rhythm for being careless and Ajay is found by Kathir(Thejank) Abi's husband. 

one fine day when Rhythm goes to pic up her son who had gone to a picnic with his classmates, she comes to know that Ajay was not very social with his classmates she promises them she will ask him to play with them. she later comes to know that her son went with a person who was dressed up like Charlie Chaplin. she informs the police and her husband friends arrive at the scene and try to calm her. The police investigate and find a bouquet of human intestine lying in a bush with Rest In Piece card and Rhythm faints after seeing the bees which were buzzing in it as she is allergic to bees.

she never lost her hope that her son is dead and her relationship with her husband falls and they get divorced. But this does not stop her hope of getting her son back. Then the story comes back to the present where she is seen sitting in the lake where she lost her son. She was advised not to visit the lake as it will add stress to her baby, but she continues to visit the place.

when she was leaving the lake as it was getting dark she saw a injured man and tries to rescue him but he warns her about a child and a killer who is trying to kill him as he saw him killing the kids and tells her to leave the place as he may kill her if he sees her and she leaves the place and saw the mysterious person who tried to kill her when she tried to escape from the lake in her car mirror. she reaches the police booth near the lake and informs them and tells them it can be her son. But another kid has gone missing in the city , so the police makes her sit and gives her some sweet water to calm her down. 

she gets a call from Gautham(Madhampatty Rangaraj) her second husband with whom she is pregnant, he tells her he is on his way and tells her to stay in the police station but she was in the car driving to the lake back. she gets shocked when she sees a kid standing infront of her car and she recognizes him to be Ajay and happily she takes him into her arms but he doesn't recognize her back and she takes him back to the police station and they hospitalize Ajay for examining him. he is said to be traumatized as he was abused for several years and Raghu tells Rhythm to take care of him and leaves. she pampers him again but Ajay stays blank with no emotions. 

Days pass and Ajay still behaves weird and Rhythm finds the kidnapper visiting her son every night and one day she finds him inside Ajay's room and he escapes as soon as he sees her. Kathir goes missing and Abi worries as she was finally pregnant with his child after a long struggle. Rhythm soon find the doctor who treated her son was the reason behind the kidnapping of children in the city with the help of her dog Cyrus and he is arrested but it was not him who kidnapped her son.

she later finds it was her friend Bhavana who had kidnapped her son and she killed Kathir as he found out it was her who kidnapped Ajay. Bhavana makes Rhythm and Ajay drink a poisoned drink before killing herself.  Ajay as well as Rhythm was saved and Ajay is back to his own self.in the end it is shown the family is happy as they hear the heartbeat of the baby.
