AARATHU SINAM - A WONDERFUL REMAKE

This movie is a remake of a Malayalam movie "memories". This movie was released in the year 2016 which starred Arul Nithi and Aishwarya Rajesh in the lead and was directed by Arivazhagan. This story revolves around a police officer who had turned into a alcoholic after his family was murdered. Due to his alcoholic behavior he is asked to take a break from his duty for few days. But a case which involves a serial killer needs his attention as he is good at solving cases so he is asked to resume his duty even when he is not sober.

 

The serial killer kidnaps few young married men and tortures  them to death and the police department was not able to find the culprit so the case was transferred to Arvind(Arulnithi). soon he starts the investigation and is successful in finding the clues which may lead to serial killer. He finds that the murder is done in a way that the bodies of the men are disposed in a way that when we connect the states where the bodies are found it forms into a holy cross. he also notices the bodies of the victim has a cross mark in their body. 

 

After investigating the wives of the victim he gets to know that all of them studies in the same college. Then he comes to a conclusion that the killer is also related to them and also came to a conclusion that the person hates woman and has a limp leg. he also gets to know how these girls have ruined a family of a professor by spreading wrong allegations against them and how their college was closed after the professor committed suicide in the premises. he comes to a conclusion that the killer has used the bible and is also the fan of Dan Brown Series. 

He plans to get the killer when he kidnaps the next target and learns his brother is the next target as his wife is the last girl left. the story end with Arvind killing the serial killer and rescuing his brother in the process. this movie is a inspiration of the novel "Before He Kills" by Blake Pierce.
