A Nightmare on Elm Street is a horror, mystery, and thriller movie based on a nightmare murder mystery. people who love the thriller genre cannot resist this movie. this is a fantastic movie with a superb screenplay, the plotline, and especially sound effects. though the scenes are not scary the sound effects will definitely make you scream. this movie gives a lot of impacts. it is also a creepy movie. there was this scene where the first kill happens through the nightmare, it was so creepy. all full bloodshed and murder. it was definitely creepy. 

Freddy Krueger became a most famous creepy character. most of the people also dressed like him for Halloween. he is basically a murderer who stalks teenagers in their dreams. there was also a creepy rhyme in the movie which became famous then, " One, two, Freddy's coming for you, Three, four, Better lock your door, Five, six, grab a crucifix, Seven, eight, Gonna stay up late, Nine, ten, Never sleep again...". Freddy Krueger's character was so iconic and especially his claws. when I saw the movie for the first time, I was terrified for almost one week. this is the best thriller movie I have ever known. there is a lot of versions of this movie. the first one was from 1984, the one I watched. later on, many movies were released based on this plotline.
